My client is a leading organization in next-generation cybersecurity, protecting organizations and consumers worldwide from advanced cyberthreats. My client delivers a comprehensive portfolio of advanced products and services to secure users, networks, and endpoints against ransomware, malware, exploits, phishing, and other cyberattacks. Their solutions are supported by a robust ecosystem, providing a centralized platform that leverages a rich set of open APIs available to customers, partners, developers, and other cybersecurity vendors. My client distributes its products and services through reseller partners and managed service providers (MSPs) globally.
Join the team as an MDR Sales Engineer, where you will be responsible for providing pre-sales support for Managed Detection and Response to the global sales organization, as well as actively assisting customers experiencing breaches through incident response services.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide support to the West Coast region as a subject matter expert on Managed Detection and Response and incident response services.
Collaborate with sales and account teams to offer support through remote engagements, product demonstrations, and responses to technical questions about service offerings and threat intelligence.
Offer light availability for night and weekend rotations in support of selling incident response services.
Proactively manage and deliver technical information to customers and partners while building and maintaining key technical relationships.
Work closely with product management and threat intelligence teams to provide customer and partner feedback on features and product direction.
Maintain an understanding of the current threat landscape and evolving threat actor tactics to advise customers and partners on potential risks.
What We are Looking For:
Minimum of 5 years of experience providing software technical support to channel partners and end users (e.g., designing, managing, administering, and supporting technical solutions).
Technical knowledge of networking and endpoint security concepts.
Strong presentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Knowledge of the security software industry, including competitors, market needs, and trends.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
