About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Vice President of EMEA & APAC to lead and expand our presence in these key markets. As the first senior leader on the ground, you will spearhead our growth strategy, build a high-performing regional team, and drive adoption of our innovative database management solutions. This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader with a track record in launching and scaling successful operations in international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for EMEA & APAC, aligned with global business objectives.
Identify and prioritise market opportunities, tailoring strategies to address regional nuances.
Act as the key point of contact between regional operations and global leadership.
2. Business Development:
Build and nurture relationships with key enterprise clients, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.
Own regional revenue targets and develop a roadmap to drive revenue growth, including new customer acquisition and upselling initiatives.
Establish a channel and partnership ecosystem, including alliances with resellers, integrators, and strategic partners.
3. Team Building & Leadership:
Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing, culturally diverse team across sales, customer success, and support functions.
Cultivate a positive, results-driven culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and customer excellence.
4. Operational Excellence:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales execution, pipeline management, and reporting.
Leverage analytics and market insights to optimise regional performance and drive efficiencies.
Ensure alignment with compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements specific to EMEA & APAC markets.
5. Customer Advocacy:
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring our solutions meet their evolving needs.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide regional customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.
Candidate Profile:
1. Experience:
Minimum 12+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or general management, ideally in the database management, SaaS, or broader tech ecosystem.
Proven track record of scaling operations and driving revenue growth in EMEA & APAC markets.
Experience building "first-on-the-ground" operations, including establishing initial market presence and hiring foundational teams.
2. Skills:
Strong strategic and tactical capabilities; able to balance vision with execution.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and partners.
Deep knowledge of go-to-market strategies, sales methodologies, and partnership development.
